Honest answer: There are many different series in window film such as Reflective, Dual-Reflective, Neutral, Specialty, Ceramic, Harmony, Spectrally Selective, Decorative, and Low-E. Film thickness (such as security film and exterior film) also affects pricing. For example, a basic reflective silver film with a shiny inside and outside sits at the bottom of our budget range, while a light, clear window film with high heat rejection hits the top.
Reality check: They usually install car film with no warranty, provide poor installations from contractors who treat window film as a side gig, or only offer one or two options because of roll minimums. There are often charges for everything else, like blind removal and furniture moving. By the time you are done, you have paid more replacing film every few months than our transparent pricing would cost from the start.
