FAQ

No, solar control film doesn’t offer privacy at night. It reflects sunlight during the day, but when it’s dark outside and lights are on inside, the film becomes transparent. Some use exterior floodlights to mimic daylight conditions, but this isn’t always effective. For full privacy at night, pair it with blinds, curtains, or frosted film.

Window film pricing is based on the total square footage of glass being covered, the type of film selected (solar control, security, decorative, etc.), and installation complexity. Additional factors like window height, accessibility, and whether old film needs to be removed can also affect the final cost.

We tint the inside of the window for better durability and warranty coverage. Exterior film is only used when interior access is limited.

Applying automotive window tint to residential or commercial glass can cause thermal stress, leading to potential breakage—especially if the glass is not tempered. Most residential properties do not have tempered glass throughout all the windows, making them more vulnerable to damage. Additionally, using car tint on residential and commercial glass voids the window film warranty.
